I don't think we honestly realize how simply we can touch another's soul by just showing kindness. I know I am always truely amazed when other's share how I made a positive difference to them.
Sariah is my brother's grandaughter, she is 3 and a character at that ... let's just say, one is never bored when Sariah is around! I was at my brother's house a little while ago and Sariah was there ... together we were sitting at the dining table when she said something completly adorable and I said to her, " You're such an adorable little human being! You fill my heart with smiles!"
"Auntie Jana," she replied, "I am not a human! I will not be human until I am 5!" I laughed! "who told you that?" was my next question. "Eric" she replied. (Eric is my brother's 13 year old son) ... I wasn't surprised. And so ended our conversation.
many weeks later this transpired:
One of the confrence talks was on the light that shines within us ... I forget who gave it ... Elder what's his name??? ... The elder who gave the talk described his feelings as a child when he shined a flashlight on his own hand and the light shown through making him to appear filled with light. I experimented with this while sitting with Sariah yesterday ... "Is this the light of Christ?" I asked her ... " No, silly," she answered, "It's a flashlight!" "Well, then," I asked her "What does the light OF Christ Look like?" This sweet little girl took both my cheeks in her hands and quietly said, " It Looks like you when you smile at me ..." My heart burst ... I took this sweet little girl in my arms, if your not human yet, you must be an angel ... thank you, precious angel for touching my heart with your light!

That was surely an angel talking. What a sweetheart. But I agree with her. You are angelic and always make people feel better than they are.
Now THAT is an amazing story. I'm glad you recorded it. What a blessing children are. I'm happy to find you again!
