Merry After Christmas!

I am really not a good blogger any more, sorry. But, because I was not very good and getting out Holiday cards this year either here is my yearly Christmas poem:

Let Him In
When life is lonely and the sound of silence
Echoes way too loud …
Let Him In.
He will sit with you and
speak to you in the stillness….
Listen. His words will bring you peace.

When darkness surrounds you from all sides
and the chaos of the world screams for you to listen
to things that are angry, and hopeless …
Let Him in.
And He will be the light that restores your hope.

When life knocks you around and
the trials you endure
Seem too hard and unfair … Let Him In ….
And He will calm the turbulence and
 comfort the frustration.

When life is good, and we celebrate together
And all is right for a moment.
When those we love are happy and content …
Let Him In.
He will feel your gratitude
and He will rejoice with you!

Two thousand years and more have passed away …
There was no room for Him.
But you can open up your heart to make Him room.
He brings you Peace, Hope, Comfort, Joy and blesses your heart with his love…
If you just let Him in.

Merry Christmas, Jana Jeppson 2012

Your poem is beautiful, Jana! Thanks for the gummy bears and the beautiful key ornament you gave me. You're always so thoughtful.
