Pray ...it's a Good Thing!

     I am sorry that there have been no posts since Saturday. My Internet connection has been interrupted and spotty thanks to Verizon!! Anyway, the general topic of these chapters has been to "feast upon the words of Christ" and to pray always;

"I said unto you, feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do."    --2Nephi 32:3

"But behold, I say unto you that ye must pray always, and not faint; that ye must not perform any thing unto the Lord save in the first place ye shall pray unto the Father in the name of Christ, that he will consecrate thy performance unto thee, that thy performance may be for the welfare of thy soul."                        --- 2Nephi 32:9

I have found a great deal of comfort in "feasting" upon Christ's words. There is a peace that comes in your life when you partake of all that the Lord offers and the beauty of it all is that he offers everything he has! He communicates to us through this personal study and wants us to receive his best every day!
I can best share my feelings in my heart with poetry. I wrote this poem for you:


Prayer

I know He's there,
I know He listens,
I know He cares.

I hear His voice
it sings to me
deep in my soul
it comforts me.

I know He hears me
I know He loves me
I know He's with me
through every prayer.

and when I want
I can receive
because in faith
I do believe.
